We are supporters of the citizens' initiative (BI) Krelingen-Westenholz. Together with BI, we would like to defend ourselves against the planned project of creating an industrial area of approx. 143 hectares on the outskirts of Krelingen, and we can use any help.
Forests take up almost a third of the land area of Germany. They provide habitat for countless species, are carbon stores and regulate the climate. But so that they can hold their own against drought and profit-driven forest management, we have to protect them consistently.
Over 33,000 species of insects live in Germany. Among them are 36 bumblebee species, 7 of which are already extinct or endangered! Insects need near-natural surfaces to find food and living space.
For this reason, our association helps
Regenwald-Hilfe eV supported NABU on the project
"Cell phones for bumblebees, bees and co".
